Man in court over theft of three chihuahuas from house in Old Harlow

A MAN has appeared in court following the theft of three dogs from a house in Old Harlow.

An Essex Police spokesperson said:

“We were called to East Park in Harlow at around 1pm on Monday, 18 September following reports of a residential burglary.

During the burglary, three dogs were stolen from the property and later recovered. Sadly, one of the dogs died after sustaining injuries.

Investigating officers have since charged a man as part of this investigation.

Mark Linford, 45 of Aston Lane, Stevenage has since been charged with one count of burglary dwelling and three counts of causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.

“He was due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 20 September”.

Hope they throw him in prison the trauma & pain & distress done to the owners & they’re fur babies is disgusting

Stealing another persons dog or dogs is such an Evil crime. Our pets are family and i can only begin to imagine this families pain and heartache. Shocking and truly wicked.
