A man remains in police custody and our enquiries continue.

The woman, 30s, is now stable and her condition is no longer life threatening.

We were called at 12.30pm on Sunday 16 June to a property in Potter Street, Harlow, following reports of an assault.

A 49-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

A woman, 30s, remains in hospital where her condition is said to be life-threatening.

AN AIR ambulance has landed in the Potter Street area of Harlow.

It has been on the green off Church Road since 1230 hrs today (Sunday).

A number of police vehicle and land ambulance services are present in the car park of Brenthall Towers off Southern Way.
