Tany’s Dell: Police make arrests at violent civil dispute including one for suspected firearms offences

A NUMBER of people have been arrested following a civil dispute which turned violent in Tany’s Dell this morning.

It appears to have centred on a property close to the local primary school that has been repossessed.

The property in question had been heavily fortified and had a High Court notice affixed to the steel front door stating that the Tany’s Dell property was repossessed on September 25th, 2024.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of a disturbance involving a large group of people in Tany’s Dell this morning (Sunday 6 October).

“It is believed it followed a civil dispute.

“Three men people have been arrested and are currently in custody.


One has been arrested on suspicion of possession of firearm offences and assault of an emergency worker.

“The other two have both been arrested on suspicion of assault of an emergency worker”.

That's what I was going to say, should've been a huge red flag to the police when you have a cage like that built around your home. Dodgy stuff.

How did (from what I've heard) 30 odd Romanians wind up in a repossessed house. The house was seized by the banks whilst the mother was working and her 16 year old daughter was at the property. Not only was she traumatised but 'they' (those carrying out the repossession) sliced the door open in September whilst children were at the school?

The cage is something that would have installed when the property was repossessed, this is to prevent people entering or re-entering the property, not something people installed when living there.
