A FAIRLY overcast but dry day greeted our twelve Woodies for this famous event held over the undulating course at Berry Hill Park. The recent dry weather meant reasonable conditions underfoot, apart from one area around 300m from the finish for the U17s.

It was also worth noting that it was great to see Olympian Phoebe Gill in action in the Junior Women’s event – and what a scintillating last lap she ran for St Albans!
