A HARLOW resident has pleaded guilty to a number of charges relating to downloading images of child abuse.

Brian Pettigrew, aged 74, of Northbrooks, Harlow has pleaded guilty at Chelmsford magistrates court to the following.

On August 8th, 2024 in Harlow, made indecent photographs, namely 101 Category A images and videos, consisting of 101 still images.

On August 8th, 2024 in Harlow, made indecent images, namely 99 Category A images and videos, consisting of 96 still images and 3 videos.

On August 8th, 2024 in Harlow made indecent photographs, namely 184 Category C indecent images consisting of 101 still images.

On August 8th, 2024 in Harlow, you were in possession of 6 prohibited images of a child.

Pettigrew’s next scheduled appearance is on November 17th, 2025 at Chelmsford magistrates court.

He has been released on conditional bail.
