Harlow man charged with drug-driving and cocaine possession

A HARLOW man has been charged with driving under the influence of drugs as well as possession of cocaine.
Gary Asycough, aged 65, of Old Orchard, Harlow has been charged with the following.

On May 20th, 2025, on Southern Way in Harlow drove a Vauxhall Corsa when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely cocaine, in your blood namely 240, exceeded the specified limit.
On May 20th, 2025, on Southern Way in Harlow drove a Vauxhall Corsa when there was not in force in relation to that use such a policy of insurance as complied with the requirements of Part VI of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
On May 20th, 2025, on Southern Way in Harlow drove a Vauxhall Corsa otherwise than in accordance with a licence authorising you to drive a motor vehicle of that class.
On May 20th, 2025, had in your possession a quantity of cocaine a controlled drug of class A in contravention of section 5(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
