A HARLOW man has been charged with downloading images of child abuse.

Aidan Drew, aged 28, of Shawbridge, Harlow appeared at Chelmsford magistrates court, charged with the following.

On January 25th, 2024, at Harlow distributed an indecent photograph, namely 1 Category C, of a child.

On January 25th, 2024, at Harlow distributed an indecent photograph, namely 1 Category A, of a child.

Contrary to sections 1(1)(b) and 6 of the Protection of Children Act 1978.

His next appearance at court is scheduled for April 22nd, 2026 at Chelmsford Crown Court.

No indication of a plea at this time.
