DURING the early hours of this morning, officers executed two warrants under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.

One warrant in Longbanks led to the discovery of a large cannabis cultivation, with the property illegally abstracting electricity, posing a serious fire risk.

A second warrant in Ladyshot, resulted in the arrest of an adult male from Harlow, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs. He remains in custody.

A spokesperson said: “These actions form part of our ongoing work to tackle drug-related harm and keep our communities safe.
