JODIE & Co are thrilled to announce the Spring 2026 tour of Feel The Beat — a gentle, generous, and joyous participatory dance show, that de-centres the visual, and made with blind and visually impaired people.

It’s a show for everyone: an invitation to close the eyes, lean into the sounds of dance, and discover the time shifts that come with that. Children aged 6 and over and their families are also warmly welcome.

Audiences are invited to move and groove, shimmy and shake, float and fly, as the show weaves through sensory and poetic worlds in search of our unique beats. Whether you sit and absorb or stand and soar, our experienced cast and access crew will guide you every step of the way.
About the Show

Co-created with Kent Association for the Blind, Feel The Beat is the result of long & deep research — a real privilege, says Jodie, to discover new and exciting things about dance after years in the profession.

The show has embedded audio description throughout and plays with sensory ways into dance, opening up live performance in ways that feel alive and inclusive.

It speaks to the most important conversations around access, co-creation, and the power of participatory work. It is special work with an exceptional team. Come and join us.
