Salary Range Scale 2 SCP 3 – 4 (£25,404 – £25,814 FTE)

WE currently have a vacancy for a Learning Support Assistant, required for 25
hours, per week during term time. The successful applicant will be required to
work directly with children who have an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP)
5 days per week from 9:30am-3:00pm.

The applicant’s role will include supporting children with physical and sensory
needs, in addition to learning needs. Training will be available for specific needs
but a knowledge or previous experience of additional needs is desirable. The
applicant would also benefit from having knowledge around adaptations for
ADHD and sensory needs.

The successful applicant will be required to demonstrate kindness, compassion
and have a positive approach to supporting and nurturing children of all
backgrounds and abilities. We can offer a warm and supportive working
environment where everyone is valued. Appropriate qualifications with a
minimum of GCSE English and Maths or equivalent are required. The successful
applicant does not have to be Catholic but must be supportive of the school’s
Catholic ethos.
