SENSEI Jeff Darvill-Bessent came out of competition retirement whilst attending the Karate Do Federation annual championships in London over the Bank Holiday weekend.

As well as officiating (Judging) he entered the over 35 years veteran Kata ( Pre set Sequences) where amongst other Kata he performed Superempei Kata (108 Hands)  gaining 2nd place whilst being the oldest competitor in his section beating last year’s national Veterans Kata Champion.
