HARLOW’S Jewish Community has been shortlisted in one of the categories for the Jewish Chronicle awards.

They are in the category for the Mitzvah Day 365 Award

Their nomination states:

“Harlow Jewish Community Cheder is one of the UK’s smallest cheders. Over three years, it has built a relationship with the homeless charity Streets2Homes. Their annual Tea Party on Mitzvah Day is supported by year-round activities, which include visits and talks from recipients and staff, cheder visits to Streets2Homes and regular collections of clothing and toiletries.
