ON Friday 12th July, Church Langley played host for the annual KS1 Mini Olympics Festival. Children from a multitude of primary schools around Harlow brought teams to participate in morning and afternoon activities, such as Rob the Chest, Obstacle Course and Target Throw.

Teams were ably led by Church Langley’s Sport Leaders, who encouraged and supported the younger children.

A big well done to all of the children from Church Langley, Henry Moore, Milwards, Holy Cross, Pear Tree Mead, Cook Spinney, Tany’s Dell, Freshwaters, St Alban’s, St Luke’s, Pemberley, Jerounds, St James and The Downs schools who participated in this amazing event and a big thank you to David Stacey (School Games Organiser) for facilitating such a fantastic town-wide day.
