HARLOW Running Club members were at the Pleshey Half Marathon, near Chelmsford, on a very warm Sunday morning. Martin Westley finished in 38th place out of 377 finishers in an excellent 1hr 21min 23sec. He was followed by Colin Moody 171st in 1.46.00, John Tennant 212th in 1.52.14, David Johnson 244th in 1.56.59, Robin Lozeau 249th in 1.57.50, Janice Page 277th in 2.05.51, Debbie Smith 300th in 2.09.03 and Susan Maloney 356th in 2.28.14.

Meanwhile at the Richmond Half Marathon Luke Healy finished in 2018th place out of 3140 finishers in 2.12.51.

At Reigate Half Marathon Louise Peacock finished in 1212th place out of 1371 finishers in 2.25.03.

At the Royston Harvest Trail Half Marathon Kelly Burgess finished in 93rd place out of 126 finishers in 2.27.35, Sandra Webber was 94th in 2.27.38 and Bill Brunton 97th in 2.29.14.

At the Essex Cross Country 10K Series held at Weald Country Park in Brentwood Michael Woodruff finished in 18th place out of 255 finishers and 3rd Vet 50 in 41.15.

At the Stevenage 10K Oliver Skipper finished in 159th place out of 385 finishers in 56.38.

At Thorpe Park Sprint Distance Triathlon (750m open water swim, 21km cycle, 5km run) Ryan Smith finished in 28th place out of 257 finishers in 1.13.18(PB), Paul Schroder was 77th in 1.19.24, Julia Gardiner 150th in 1.26.49, Jason Pite 176th in 1.29.51(PB), Kerry Mavris 185th and 2nd Female Vet 40 in 1.32.21 and Wendy Schroder 210th and 3rd Female Vet 50 in 1.36.30.

At the Challenge Almere Triathlon in Amsterdam (4k open water swim, 18k cycle, 40k run) Nick D’Alton finished in 10.45.55.

At the Storm The Lakes, 4 open water swims and 4 runs for a total swim of 3.8K and run of 11K, Ben Usher and Gail Nicholls teamed up to finish 5th team out of 10 teams in 2.37.54.

On Saturday morning HRC were present at a total of 18 parkruns around the country.
