WORK has started to create a display of knitted poppies in Harlow.

Around 1,000 poppies have been made and donated so far for this exiting public art installation, which will be unveiled in Harlow next month (we are not going to give away the location!)

Volunteers are still needed to knit or crochet saucer-sized (4 and 6 inches) poppies.

Poppies can be dropped into the Civic Centre between 9am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday until 14 October.
