Dear Editor,

I’ve just been down to my elderly neighbour, to reassure her that if she needs help over the coming weeks or needs food etc, I will be there to help.

Let me tell you she is terrified. stop being so selfish people with your panic buying and your sod everyone else as long as I’m OK attitudes.

Think of those around you, go and knock on their doors, make sure they know there’s someone willing to help them if things get bad.

Reassure them and be kind to each other.

Harlow Council could you help organise a scheme for those who live in our community that are so vunerable.

Let’s all help each other.
