A HARLOW man has pleaded guilty to sending malicious and threatening messages to a number of people.

Ashley Thompson, aged 24, of Spencers Croft, Harlow pleaded guilty to the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

On 10/08/2019 at Harlow sent to another an electronic communication, namely, text messages which conveyed a message which was indecent or grossly offensive for the purpose of causing distress or anxiety to the recipient or to any other person to whom you intended that it or its contents or nature should be communicated

On 09/08/2019 at Rivermill, Harlow, without lawful excuse, threatened another that he would smash the BMW 320D car belonging to another intending that she would fear that the threat would be carried out.

On 09/08/2019 at Rivermill, Harlow, without lawful excuse, destroyed a wing mirror on BMW 320D to the value of £500 belonging to two people intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.

On 09/08/2019 at Harlow without lawful excuse, damaged a bathroom window to the value of £100 belonging to another intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.

Thompson was fined £150.00. He has also been made subject to a curfew requirement for two months.
