Women charged with fly-tipping on Rye Hill Road

A HARLOW resident has been charged with fly-tipping on the outskirts of the town.

Tina Wakefield, aged 51, of Elizabeth Way, Harlow was charged with the following.

On or about 11/06/2019 at Epping deposited controlled waste, namely unknown, in or on land, namely Rye Hill Road, without the authority of a current environmental permit issued under the Environmental Protection Act 1990.

On or about 28/08/2019 at Epping without reasonable excuse failed or refused to provide information reasonably required by Epping Forest District Council, an authorised person, in the execution of his powers or duties under or by virtue of section 108 of the Environment Act 1995.

On 07/11/2019 at Epping in the county of Essex without reasonable excuse failed or refused to provide information reasonably required by Epping Forest District Council, an authorised person, in the execution of his powers or duties under or by virtue of section 108 of the Environment Act 1995.
Contrary to section 110(2)(b) and (5) of the Environment Act 1995.

The case has been adjourned to 30/06/2021 at 16:45 in Courtroom 97, Chelmsford Magistrates Court.

Was a transit van involved, councils and or police should have the power to crush vehicles involved in this crime.
