Police arrest man after allegation of race hate incidents in town centre

A MAN has been arrested in connection with an incident where a woman subject to racial abuse in Harlow.
Officers were made aware of a video circulating on social media which reportedly showed a woman being racially abused in the Terminus Street area.
It was also reported the victim had been subjected to similar abuse outside the ASDA at the Watergardens on Friday.
A 20 year-old man from Harlow was arrested shortly before 7am today on suspicion of a racially or religiously aggravated public order act and he is currently in custody.
