Adults with learning disabilities dance through lockdown | #quarantingchallenge | ROCCS residential Home & Friends | In Association with HipHopPop

THE adult residents at ROCCS residential care home and their friends, whom have learning disabilities, loved watching dancers at Hip Hop Pop perform in a video to Lady Leshurr’s #QuarantineSpeech so much, that they wanted to have a go themselves!

Thanks to care worker Mitch Presland and his family, they made this happen!

Mitch got in touch with Director Jenny at Hip Hop Pop and asked for HHP to create the content story board of the video, instruction vids and edit the residents clips together to produce what you see here now.

The residents were straight on it, and delivered all the clips within 24 hours! They enjoyed themselves immensely, and we also think they absolutely smashed it! They look so cool don’t you think! Big thanks and love to all the residents and friends who took part.

Artist Lady Leshurr posted on instagram 2 days ago that she was looking for dancers for her music video to ‘Quaranting’ – Surely she needs to look no further 🙂 Either way – mission is complete – happy residents and friends and many hearts warmed!
