MAY we wish the general manager of the Garden of India, Mo Ahmed a happy 40th birthday.

Mo is a great ambassador for the town, not only as a restauranteur, his family run the Raj Lodge in Old Harlow and Vujon in Ongar, but also a a humanitarian.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, Mo and his team at the Bush Fair restaurant have gone the extra mile to not only feed they regular customers but to help the isolated and those working for the NHS.

The Garden of India has become a community hub with Mo at the centre.

Mo has also been great supporter of local businesses and charities.
