Football: Harlow Town’s FA Cup campaigns begin

THE draws for the opening rounds of the Emirates FA Cup and Buildbase FA Trophy have been made.
With the start date for the league campaign still to be confirmed, the Hawks have now discovered their first opponents for the 2020-21 season.
Emirates FA Cup
Harlow Town have been drawn as one of the 16 Step 4 Clubs that are not exempt to the Preliminary Round and will instead enter the competition in the earliest stage, the Extra Preliminary Round.
The Hawks will welcome former tenants Enfield to the Harlow Arena on Tuesday 1st September. The winner of this tie will receive £1,125 in prize money and progress to the Preliminary Round, where they will host either Clapton or Sporting Bengal United.
This season’s Emirates FA Cup competition is due to start on Tuesday 1st September, with the final taking place on Saturday 15th May 2021.
Buildbase FA Trophy
Harlow Town will enter the FA Trophy at the Second Round Qualifying stage on Saturday 17th October. The Hawks will travel to either AFC Sudbury or Barking, who face off against each other in the First Round Qualifying.
This season’s Buildbase FA Trophy competition is due to start on Saturday 26th September, with the final taking place on Saturday 9th May 2021.
