Harlow man in court after allegedly taking £9,000 for gardening work that was never carried out

A HARLOW man has been charged in relation to charging £9,000 for gardening work that was not carried out.
Alf Mitchell aged 35, of Gibb Croft, Fern Hill Lane, Harlow has been charged with the following.

Between 09/04/2019 and 20/04/2020 at Harlow in the county of Essex committed fraud in that you dishonestly made a false representation, namely taking money up front for gardening work which you have not carried out, intending to make a gain, namely money totalling £9,900.00, for yourself Contrary to sections 1 and 2 of the Fraud Act 2006.
The case has been adjourned to November 2nd, at Chelmsford Magistrates Court.
Charge him, break his arms and burn down his caravan
