AS a final welcome to the St Mark’s family, the year 7 pupils made shields that represent them.

Head of Year, Miss Webster said: ‘As part of their induction to St Mark’s, Year 7 pupils were asked to create a shield that represents them.

“On the shield, the pupils express their interests and aspirations.

“These were then presented in the year 7 welcome mass along with their form banners.”

Year 7 student, Millie said she enjoyed making her shield. Millie said: “We made the shields in registration.

“It was a really good exercise as it helped you say something about yourself and you learned something about other people in your year.”
