Covid-19 infection rate in Harlow falls slightly

THERE continues to be good news and bad news in the latest Covid-19 statistics for Harlow.
Good News
The rate of infection has fallen slightly. It now stands at 218.2 per 100,000. A fall of 2.1%. There are 190 cases.
The last chart had an increase of 13.1%
There are some areas such as Basildon, (+22.6%). Medway (+29.0%) and Ashford (41.6%) that continue to see increases.
It is important that we continue to follow the message of “Let’s stop the spread”
Bad News
The reality is that behind each statistic is a name and a grieving family. That can be seen in a number of stories we have run today.
Harlow has risen one place in the charts to No 43 out of 315 local authorities.
