Ross Practice in Bush Fair roll out flu jabs

News / Sat 12th Dec 2020 at 04:24pm

AT JUST after 8am, the Ross Practice in Bush Fair opened its doors to patients who had requested the flu jab.

In what was a model of efficiency, the procedure went like this.

Two members of staff in high-vis jackets stood outside and welcomed you, making sure you were there for the jab.

You stood outside for just a few minutes. Before you went in, there was foot-operated hand sanitiser.

The corridor was very clearly marked with social distancing instructions.

Another member of staff had a makeshift reception desk. She asked. for your surname, then found your relevant card.

You were then ushered into what was the waiting room that had been re-shaped into three cubicle jab areas.

Sleeve up, jab done.

You were then ushered out through a separate door to continue your day.

We would just like to say well done to Practice Manager Sheila Keller and her team.

We do hope patients at all the other surgeries in Harlow are also benefitting from an equally efficient service.
