Covid-19: Harlow falls to 131st in infection table

HARLOW has fallen to its lowest place in the infection table since late November.

Harlow is now 131st out of 315 local authorities.

There are now 147 cases in Harlow. A decrease of 11 on the previous day.

That figure relates to Feb 9th but reported on Feb 14th.

The infection rate has fallen to 168.8 per 100,000.

This could be quite a significant weekend in Harlow’s battle against Covid.

If we can stress the positive, the number of in-patients at Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) has fallen very steadily.

YH understands that there are 60 Covid in-patients, including 10 on ventilators.

There are 167 outstanding test results.

There are now 10 Covid wards at PAH. Lister, Locke, Penn, Harold, Kingsmoor, Charnley, John Snow, Henry Moore and ITU.

The infection rate tells a similar story. Back on September 30th it was 29.9. October 16th: 68.9. November 8th: 118.3. November 22nd it was 206.7. December 2nd it was 221.7.
