A MAN has been charged with racial harassment of one person and assaulting an accident and emergency nurse at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow.

Patrick Ward, aged 39, of Balham Grove, London was charged with the following.

On August 28th, 2020 at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow assaulted a nurse.

On August 26th, 2020 at Harlow with intent to cause another harassment, alarm or distress used threatening, abusive or insulting words
or behaviour or disorderly behaviour thereby causing that or another person harassment, alarm or distress and the offence was racially aggravated.

On August 27th, 2020 at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow, with intent to cause another harassment, alarm or distress, used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, thereby causing that person or another harassment, alarm or distress.

Ward has been remanded on conditional bail until March 29th, 2021.
