THE number of Covid-19 in patients at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow continues to fall.

The most recent figures seen by YH state that there are 26 in-patients.

Two are on ventilators.

Just two months ago, there were 204 in patients, spread across 10 wards at the hospital.

The death rate has also sharply declined.

Deaths in First Five Days of the Month

December: 12

January: 32

February: 9

March: 2

Of course, one death is one death too many and we wish all those in hospital a speedy recovery.
