TAYLOR Wimpey is putting over £2.2m towards improving infrastructure and community facilities around Tudor Park, the new community coming soon to Sawbridgeworth.
The housebuilder received planning consent for the 140-home development in March 2020, with the first homes set to go on sale this spring.

Through contributions agreed as part of the planning permission for the new community, Taylor Wimpey is helping to support local education, infrastructure and more.
Among the key contributions in the planning agreements are a £1.6m sum towards the local primary education, a £325,000 payment towards secondary education and over £195,000 towards local sport and leisure facilities.
Andy Holloway, Land and Planning Director for Taylor Wimpey North Thames, said: “We’re delighted to be making these contributions to the community in Sawbridgeworth and it’s incredibly important to us that Tudor Park is a place where people can live, work, exercise and relax together.
“It’s a real honour to be able to help to provide much-needed new homes in Sawbridgeworth. We hope that our financial contributions as well as great new facilities will help leave a lasting legacy for the town to be proud of.”
