The long-term trend of reducing the proportion of road fatalities in the UK has stalled - with our roads becoming increasingly unsafe due to negligence, criminal conduct and blatant disregard to the lives of others. A twelve month ban and a fine will not deter someone who seems pathologically compelled to put innocent people in harms way. Do the honourable thing and surrender your licence after your ban.
