Harlow man admits breaching suspended sentence after stalking conviction

A HARLOW man has breached his suspended sentence order following a conviction for stalking.
Daniel Askew, aged 28, of Whitewaits, Harlow pleaded guilty at Chelmsford magistrates court to the following breach.
Failed without reasonable excuse to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order made by North East London Magistrates’ Court on 09/04/2019 by failing to attend telephone appointments on 01/03/2021 and 08/03/2021 and did not provide any explanation or evidence for this missed appointment .
The original offence was:
Between 07/07/2018 and 29/10/2018 within the area of Central Criminal Court , pursued a course of conduct which amounted to the stalking of a women and which you knew or ought to have known amounted to the harassment of her in that you followed her numerous times, entered victims address & sent abusive text messages.
His original sentence was: Suspended sentence of imprisonment of 20 weeks suspended for 12 months.
There is no further punishment. Askew admitted the breach
