FOLLOWING the fire at Parndon Wood Chapel, Daniel Robinson and Masterson Funeral Directors have issued the following statement.

“On Monday there was a small fire there, resulting from an electrical appliance, in the Crematorium Chapel area.

“The Crematorium are working hard to get the necessary remedial work completed asap.

“Parndon Wood staff have advised us that they will not be able to accommodate any services in the Chapel this week, and we have therefore arranged for services to be relocated to other local Crematoria.

“Please contact us if you were planning to attend a funeral service that we have arranged at Parndon Wood, and we will be able to give you any updated information”.
