M11 Junction 7A scheme: Details of further closures this weekend and beyond
News / Fri 4th Mar 2022 at 08:26am

MORE traffic woes for Harlow drivers this weekend and beyond when the northbound M11 between junctions 7 and 8 closes.
The motorway will be shut between Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford from 11pm Friday (March 11) until 5am Monday (March 14).
During the works the plan is for northbound M11 traffic to be diverted off at J7 and onto the westbound A414, northbound A10 and eastbound A120 to rejoin the motorway at J8.
The timetable beyond that is below

Can you tell me if M11 is closed jtn7 to jtn 8,or jtn 8 to jtn 7,sat 12/03/22
It would be nice if they reset the timing of the traffic lights on junction 7 harlow roundabout after the weekend closures it's been horrendous traffic every morning on approach because of this! Completely unnecessary disruption to people's work commute.
The "diversion" is wholly inappropriate as it adds massive distance to any journey and pushes traffic through the very bottleneck in Harlow the new junction is meant to alleviate. Does anyone at Highways England have more than one brain cell? Pollution, current cost of fuel, etc.
Longest diversion ever, but it is because the A414 through Harlow and Sawbridgeworth is full of potholes that no one will properly fix! Shocking set up
Also Brad they have road works at Old Harlow with traffic lights CRAZY
How do you all expect the junction to be done without road closures? It isn’t going to be forever and think yourselves lucky that all you have is a little diversion, and that you don’t live in Ukraine and don’t have to flee your home to safety
There are alternative routes depending on your final destination. The one shown takes you to J8 from J7 but a good SatNav should offer you more than 1 option.
What's the Ukraine got to do with someone asking a question about roadworks that could impact on someone getting to the airport?????
