A HARLOW mum whose teenage son was killed in 2006 wants to bring The Knife Angel to the town.
Tommy Jones was stabbed to death outside a London pub. The subsequent trial saw the man accused walk free.
Since then, Mel Hopwood has campaigned for justice but also to try and prevent other young people becoming victims of knife crime.
As part of her campaigning, Mel wants to bring the Knife Angel to Harlow

16 years on and you are still an amazing women who is fighting for Tommy, knife crime & Street crime will never end but if there is anyway to prevent it from happening then you have to try Mel.

Knife crime and violence is getting worse in this day and age. Just please stop it now! Why should Tommy’s mum have to go through this?Listen to Mel and think about what could happen if you carry a knife!!!

Go girl! Let’s get some sort of justice for you and others alike. This will educate people for sure but we need more than the knife Angel, we need the beat back on the block. And we need tougher sentences for carriers and users of knives. Why is there zero peace in this world? It’s 2022
