Man charged with causing £3,000 worth of damage to glass bridge at Parndon Mill

A MAN has been charged with a number of public order offences including causing £3,000 worth of damage to a glass bridge in Harlow.

Nikita Stolerovs, aged 25, of Risdens, Harlow has been charged with the following:

On May 20th, 2022 at Harlow used or threatened unlawful violence towards other persons and your conduct was such as would cause a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to fear for his personal safety.

On On May 20th, 2022 at Harlow stole alcohol of a value unknown belonging to The Clockhouse Pub, Harlow.

On May 20th, 2022 at Harlow without lawful authority or reasonable excuse, had with you in a public place, namely Parndon Mill, an offensive weapon, namely Large Hammer.

On May 20th, 2022 at Harlow without lawful excuse, damaged Glass Bridge to the value of £3000 belonging to Harlow Council intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.

On May 20th, 2022 at Harlow assaulted four police officers , an emergency worker, acting in the exercise of his functions as such a worker.

Stolerovs has been sent for trial to Chelmsford Crown Court on June 20th, 2022.

He has been remanded in custody.
