A HARLOW man has been charged under the Proceeds of Crime Act.

Andrew Burrows, aged 55, of Pitten House Sheering Road Old Harlow was charged as follows:

Between July 25th, 2018 and August 14th 2018 at Basildon entered into an arrangement which you knew or suspected facilitated the acquisition, retention, use or control of criminal property, namely a quantity of money , by or on behalf of another person, namely persons unknown .

Contrary to sections 328(1) and 334 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

Burrows has been remanded on unconditional bail until the next scheduled court appearance on August 1st at Basildon magistrates court.
