HEATH Players are delighted to be back this November, performing our long awaited play: The Women of Troy. From our talented script writer and dedicated cast comes a classic tragedy which, adapted from Euripides’ original version, is set within a women’s psychiatric hospital.

In the aftermath of the legendary Trojan War, the women are left to pick up the pieces. Follow the Women of Troy as they wait anxiously to discover what will become of them, now the news has broken that their ward is being closed for good. Genuine despair mingles with steadfastness, determination and fierce friendship as these women face the unknown together.

This is a story of loss, love, lust, tension, conflict, feuds, and suspicion, but most of all, the resilience to survive in the most desperate and precarious of situations.
