A HARLOW man has been charged with stalking and assault.

Mitchell Dawkins, aged 31, of Parsonage Leys, Harlow has been charged with the following.

Between January 12th, 2023 and April 4th, 2024 at Harlow your course of conduct amounted to stalking and caused a woman to fear, on at least two occasions, that violence would be used against  her, when you knew or ought to have known that your course of conduct would cause fear of violence to said woman on each occasion in that you sent abusive messages to the victim, turned up at her address unannounced and made threats of violence to her.

On April 4th, 2024 , at Harlow assaulted a woman by beating her.

Dawkins has pleaded not guilty to both charges.

He has been remanded on conditional bail.

The next hearing at Chelmsford Magistrates court is November 18th, 2025.
