A HARLOW woman has appeared in court, charged with making threats to kill.

Sophie Smith, aged 25, of Barn Mead has been charged with the following at Chelmsford magistrates court.

On January 2nd, 2025, in Grays, without lawful excuse, made to a police officer, a threat to kill another person, intending that the said police officer, would fear that the said threat would be carried out.

Smith has been remanded on conditional bail.

Her next scheduled appearance is March 13th, 2026.
