Pear Tree Mead read in their PJs and Onsies and raise money for charity

THE staff and children at Pear Tree Mead Academy all enjoyed Blue Monday at school. They wore their Pjs and Onsies, bought in a cosy blanket and toy and snuggled down for some animal stories.

One of the five ways to wellbeing is GIVING, and so there seems no better way than to raise some money for charity on this cold and gloomy January day.

The children spent the day learning about the HEART Charity (Harlow Essex Animal Rescue Team) in Harlow who dedicate their time to rescuing animals in distress in the local area. Please follow www.heartrescue.co.uk to find out more.

The children donated money to the fund to support their vet bills and essential rescue resources.
