Man arrested on suspicion of drink driving and women in life-threatening condition after road traffic collision on M11 near Harlow

POLICE officers investigating a serious collision on the M11 are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

A spokesperson said: “We were called to a collision involving three vehicles on the M11 southbound prior to Junction 7 near Harlow.

We attended alongside fire and ambulance service colleagues.

A woman aged in her 60s suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition.

Two other casualties received hospital treatment for injuries which are not life-threatening or life-changing.

A man aged in his 50s, from Coventry, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and remains in custody for questioning.

A road closure was in place whilst emergency services responded, this has now been lifted.

Hopefully the lady recovers fully from her injuries. To the complete and utter idiot drink driver, hopefully a long ban and massive fine might help. Still after all these years people still not getting it in their heads

Try a prison sentence. No excuse for drink driving.
