“Essex Build 2025 will celebrate the incredible achievements of our local businesses, whose expertise and innovation have seen Essex become a national leader in construction.

“We are committed to supporting local businesses, unlocking new opportunities, and ensuring that Essex remains a place where innovation and enterprise can flourish. Through initiatives like Essex Construction Alliance, we are supporting the sector to attract investment, access supply chains for major projects, and champion sustainable development that meets the needs of our communities while protecting our environment.

“I would like to thank all of our sponsors and key partners for making this exciting event possible.”

Councillor Tony Ball, Cabinet Member for Education Excellence, Lifelong Learning and Employability, said: “I look forward to attending the first ever Essex Build event. Construction is one of our county’s most important growth sectors and the event will offer businesses in the sector the opportunity to share ideas, forge new partnerships, and showcase the very best of what Essex has to offer.

“While we are proud to support apprenticeships and training programmes that help ensure our workforce is equipped with right skills, we know there is more work needed to support the industry in this area. The event will offer the opportunity to share knowledge and expertise while also providing us with the chance to learn more from businesses themselves about how we can support them into the future.”
