Harlow man set to stand trial over assaulting staff at GP surgery

A HARLOW man is set to stand trial over allegations that he assaulted a member of staff at a GP surgery and a second charge of criminal damage.
Zafar Reza, aged 34, of Waterhouse Moor, Harlow pled not guilty at Chelmsford magistrates court to the following.

On February 23rd, 2023 assaulted a female by beating her.
On February 23rd, 2023 at Addison House Surgery, without lawful excuse, damaged Plastic Covid Screening to the value of £2000 belonging to Addison House Doctors Surgery intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged
Reza has been remanded on unconditional bail.
Next hearing at Colchester magistrates’ court is set for June 22nd, 2025.
