Harlow named best town for first-time buyers in Barratt survey

HARLOW has been named as among the best areas across the country for first-time buyers, new figures have revealed.
Barratt Homes has analysed the latest data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS), government housing reports, and a survey of 2,000 independent UK homeowners to reveal the best spots.

Analysing newly released data from the Financial Conduct Authority, the housing company pulled out the top 10 local authorities with the largest increase in first-time buyer mortgage applications in the last 10 years.

According to Barrett Homes’ report, here are the top 10 UK hotspots for first-time buyers, highlighting the spots with the largest increase in first-time buyer mortgage applications in the last 10 years.

Only because it's close to London. That's only reason house prices are steep.
Harlow is such a great place to live… Green, all the amenities you would want, hospital in the town, 30 mins to Stansted for holidays and 30 mins to Liverpool Street - money capital of the world.. anti Harlow people are so so odd.
