ST Mark’s West Essex Catholic School’s Under-19 Netball team made an impressive start to their season.

They beat Davenant Foundation School, 52-17 in the first round of the Essex Cup.

Nearly all of the team play for a variety of clubs including Hertford Hornets, Crosskeys and Woodson, to name just a few.

They also hold down part time jobs, all the while, undertaking their A-Level commitments.

Finally, special mention to Millie, their player of the match.
