Winding up order filed against Harlow skip company Courtlands

News / Wed 24th Dec 2025 at 12:39pm

A PETITION to wind up a Harlow-based skip hire company has been submitted to the courts.

Last month, we reported that Courtland Skips had been evicted from their premises off Edinburgh Way (see below).

YH had been contacted by residents who had (and still have) full skips on their premises or outside their homes.

They told us their calls to Courtlands were not being returned.

Their website is now down.

From documents published by the London Gazette, it appears that the winding up application was successful.

A winding-up order was filed on December 17th and published today, December 24th.

Reminds me of the Ian Dury and the Blockheads song 'What a Waste'.
