Police investigation after man seriously assaulted in Berecroft

POLICE are investigating a serious assault which happened in Harlow on Sunday evening (1 March).
We received reports that two men were being assaulted by several suspects at around 10.30pm in the Berecroft area.

One man was left seriously injured and was taken to hospital.
The second man is also believed to have been injured, but left the scene before officers arrived.
It was also reported two cars were involved in a collision in the area that may be related, involving a black vehicle and a silver Audi.
Our officers are pursuing several lines of enquiry and gathering CCTV.
We want to speak to anyone who may have doorbell footage of these incidents, or any information that would assist us.
It’s also important we speak to the second victim in this case, and we would encourage them to come forward.
