Well I wonder if, in his new role, he will support the actions being taken by ECC and HDC to reverse the proposed changes to Local Government in Essex?

That's what happens when you are super loyal to the Labour Together faction. Steve Reed being a leading light of this discredited faction that is noted in a scandal to smear journalists. Cabinet Office minister Josh Simons, when he was boss of Labour Together, hired a dodgy US press relations firm to falsely accuse numerous journalists who were investigating Labour Together's £730k undeclared donations from wealthy businessmen. Not one word of condemnation from Vince, who has fully supported Labour Together's big business agenda.

I did have a slight chuckle to myself when I saw one of those groups were communities. I hope he does better nationally than he has done locally.

Of all the people to be a career politician, I’d had high hopes it wouldn’t be him. What a disappointment.

I wonder if he will still be a MP after the next General Election?

I’ve met Chris Vince several times, and not been impressed, I’ve been a Labour supporter all my life, a shop steward, works conveneer, but, when Jeremy Corbyn got elected as leader, I stopped my membership, because of his political views, and now we have Starmer, who in my opinion is useless, and so at 80, I’m thinking of voting Reform?

Weird then we never see him at all, unlike our previous MP who was very visible and approachable. As for being a secretary hopefully it will teach him some skills for when he leaves office, wonder how good his short hand. I prefer my secretaries blond, female and hot but hey ho may the rumours about Keir are right. This is a joke by the way like out current MP and government.

Assume, Adam, you walk around with your head in the sand then. Chris is out and about in town all the time.

Adam - also, nice to see you manage to be sexist and homophobic in the same post. Dickhead.
