Suffolk man in court over alleged drugs and dangerous driving charges

A MAN from Suffolk has been charged with a number of offences.
Carlos Da Silva, aged 38 of Violet Street, Lakenheath, Suffolk appeared at Chelmsford magistrates court, having been charged with the following.

On June 3rd 2026, at Harlow, had in your possession a quantity of Cocaine, a controlled drug of class A with intent to supply it to Cocaine in contravention of section 4(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
On June 3rd, 2026 at Harlow, had in your possession a quantity of cannabis a controlled drug of class B with intent to supply it to Cannabis in contravention of section 4(1) of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971.
On June 3rd, 2026 drove a Toyota Corolla, dangerously on a road, namely the A414 towards the A10.
On June 3rd, 2026, being the driver of a Toyota Corolla, on the A414, failed to stop the vehicle on being required to do so by a constable in uniform.
On June 3rd, 2026, in Harlow, had with you, without good reason or lawful authority, in a public place, the A414 an article which had a blade or was sharply pointed, namely brown handle lock knife.
Da Silva was sent to crown court for trial and released on conditional bail.
Next appearance is scheduled for July 2nd, 2026.
